What is the unit device you have own? Please specify it. So that we can tell you why is it not compatible. Samsung phones, headphones only works great in Samsung headphones and Samsung headsets. When you use another brand, the headset will not work properly and the sound is not as good as the Samsung have.

Like the other brand of phones, you can try to buy headsets which the same brand of your unit so that you will avoid like this problems that headset will not going work properly. You will just waste money for this if this will not work out. So remember it that if you will buy headset based it in your mobile brand. I cannot operate my join me was advised to uninstall then re connect phone to install program again, in lies problem it won`t uninstall from programes I have operating feature ZTE join me on my computer which enables me to connect my phone via usb cable to the computer it worked then when I went to re connect phone it would not work was advise to uninstall it off the computor and then re connect the phone which has the program pre installed onto it. Hi, Trying to help out a friend who had his ZTE T54 Telstra Tough phone run over by a car. Screen is completely blank and appears to have no power or connection, yet keys activate/light up, phone appears to power up as well as off and when on, keys are playing tones. He's since bought a newer T55 replacement and was able to transfer his SIM card in it, so he's back on the air. Unfortunately he wasn't saving the phone numbers on the SIM card, but in the phone memory and he doesn't use a computer, so his 300 numbers in his phone book appear to be lost. I plugged it in via USB and it mounted and came up! So I thought I'd be able to get the phone numbers out of it for him.

Unfortunately, even though it mounts and allows the software to install, when it goes to connect to interrogate the phone numbers an alert comes up in the 'Join Me' software saying to switch the phone on(??) It's clearly on in that the software is mounting and I'm able to type in 'AT' commands on the serial port its presenting (and no, the AT+CPBR commands didn't work), so the phone may still be too damaged, even though its kind of working through the USB port. My last ditch effort is to see if I can retrieve the phone numbers from the phone memory via Bluetooth.

Unfortunately the phone currently doesn't have Bluetooth activated and without a working screen, I'm typing/selecting menu functions blindly. I used his new T55 to type simultaneously the same keys and menu options on both phones to activate bluetooth on the broken T54, but no go. As I have no screen on the broken T54, I was hoping I could somehow activate its Bluetooth module to try and connect/pair with it. From looking at the PDF manual for the T54, there are some minor differences between its menus and the newer T55 and so the key options are not the same.

So, I'm hoping someone with a Telstra Tough T54 (must be T54, not another version) might be able to tell me exactly the sequence of keys needed to turn Bluetooth on it. I know its a long shot, but if I can turn Bluetooth on, I may just be able to retrieve his numbers for him. Another option would be to just video someone going through the menus doing the same thing with a T54 so I could watch them and copy it. Anyone got a T54 that might be able to help me/him out? Hi, Contact ZTE Australia direct via the support line (see the website as I don't remember it).

Then explain the issue and the guys can offer for you to send it in to them and then they can walk the 10M to me to help get the contacts off the device. Twice a year I get asked to download and save users contacts and we have a couple of methods we can try. Don't send the battery as we have our own is all I would say you should need to remember. Ask your mate if he has setup the handset for DUN via Bluetooth or not?

Do you know roughly what sort of cost is associated with this? I have to ask my friend how much this is worth to him. Twice a year I get asked to download and save users contacts and we have a couple of methods we can try. Don't send the battery as we have our own is all I would say you should need to remember.

I've tried the usual way with the USB cable and I've also tried using the serial port 'AT' modem commands as well. So Bluetooth is last option I'm aware of.

Ask your mate if he has setup the handset for DUN via Bluetooth or not? He definitely hasn't as it was never plugged into a computer before he asked me to help. There are a couple of settings that can stop you getting the contacts off the handset. He would have used it literally as it came out of the box from Telstra to just make phone calls and SMS. That's the limit of his technical knowledge. So I wouldn't know what the defaults are, but its very unlikely anything would have changed from initial setup.
