Antec Veris Fusion Black Manual Wheelchair
I have the Antec Fusion Remote case. But the LCD panel is black. Everything else seems to run okay.
I am sure I have hooked up 1-2 things wrong. There is a pair of blue/white wires that have a weird adapter. It is the size of a 4-prong Molex connection, but it is only 2 prongs. There is another cable that has a USB-type connection in the middle that runs to the motherboard. It has GNO, D+, D-, VCC on the connection near the motherboard. There are some black/red whites that say 'Power SW' on them And then there is a purple/white set of wires that say 'reset' on them.

As you may appreciate, the manual for this case is awfully confusing. I would appreciate any help from someone knowledgeable on this forum on what may be wrong and what may need to connect to what. Can you describe me, what exactly did happen to your Antec case? I hooked up mine to a Gigabyte motherboard like yours (UD2H) but nothing really worked. Especially, when I hooked up the 3 Pin Adapter coming from the Power Supply/ATX Power of the mainboard to the 3 Pin cable coming out of the front of the Display, it began burning and cooking! So now nothing is really working, neither the Display nor the IR!! What did you do against it?
Contacted Antec? I did so nearly a week ago, but they don´t seem to react. I also spoke to my Computer dealer where I purchased the case. They contacted their supplier, but nothing really happened so far!
I would be really pleased hearing that erverything is going to be fine and someone had the same issues than I have! Thanks in advance.Greetings from Germany!!
Do you have to send anything back? My last contact was that they wanted me to remove the LCD panel and send it back before they send a replacement. It is a total PIA, but the replacement LCD panel they sent works (so far). Conversely, you can try to use the box with the power to the LCD and data cable to the LCD panel disabled. Be sure to unplug both the data/USB connection to the LCD panel and the power to the USB.
There is also a 6-inch power extension Antec supplies to the 24-pin (20+4 pin) connection on the motherboard. That extension creates a place for the 3-pin adapter to the LCD panel. That whole power extension fried for me in the fire. If you unhook the extension you can connect power directly to the motherboard. Be sure again to also unplug the data connection to the LCD. You then have to use the power button to turn on. That enabled me to turn the HTPC on/off.
The Lenovo N5901 worked fine for several weeks with the disabled LCD panel, and I continue to use it (in addition to the klugey Veris remote that Antec supplied). Close call whether it was worth it to replace the LCD panel (versus just using the box with the LCD panel disabled. But I eventually went through the hassle of undoing the front panel (there are 3 screws at the top on the interior of the case and you need to pull the harddrives). I sent back the following:. the LCD panel,. the wire from the power switch to the LCD panel,. the wire form the LCD panel to the power switch on the motherboard.
the 3-pin power wire,. the extension cord from the power supply to the mobo (that create a place to plug the 3-pin power adapter). and the USB cable that connect to data. After 2 weeks, Antec mailed a replacement for each. How long did you wait until they answered you? Antec has a bizarre process of 'customer service'.
They assign an RMA if you request that and close the customer service ticket. (Closing the ticket is strange because the customer is still not happy.) With the RMA ticket, you are then in the hands of the RMA department. I mailed back all the items listed above, and it took almost 2 weeks before they acknowledged receipt and sent replacements. I called the RMA department 3-4 times. The number from the US and Canada is 1-800-22ANTEC (1-800-222-6832). Finally, I have questions whether Antec is sliding downhill.
Its repuation for quality is part of the motivation for me to buy their case. But here is a similar tale of from the customer 'service.' I'll open it up tonight and let you know. Because I think the Display might be a little to bright for me. What cables exactly need to be cut off then? In my opinion it has to be the 4Pin Molex and the 3Pin cable coming from the display, right? Or what else is the 3Pin cable good for at all? Don't cut anything off! If you don't plan on using the LCD display at all, just disconnect the 3 pin and 4 pin connectors, and disconnect the USB cable. If you use an external IR receiver, it will control everything - you won't use the Antec/iMON stuff at all.
Hi Sorry for asking but looked everywhere and can't find solution I have Antec Fusion Remote Veris Black and Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H. My problem is that I have two cables named power SW and don't know which one is the right one? Thats how my mainboard looks like: Found this strange diagram inside the case but that dosent make any sense to me Antec manual says this: Is it posible that one of those cables is not connected somewhere in front panel?
I'm lost with it, such simple thing but gives me such a hard time EDIT: I managed to connect White-Black cable to mainboard to have pc to start. I found also some cable with 3pin female plug i suppose this is to connect power to LCD from my PSU with cable provided: Doing so keeps my LCD lit on even when computer is switched off, is it normal? Also there is 4-pin Molex power connector with blue and white wiring and I now know that that is case power LED. So my final question is, whrere Red-Black Power goes to? Thanks ChapeL.
